Toronto Turkish Film Festival (TTRFF)

I am the Director of Operations & Strategy at the Toronto Turkish Film Festival, an independent cultural initiative dedicated to showcasing contemporary cinema from Türkiye and creating space for dialogue around culture, identity, and storytelling.

I lead the festival’s strategic direction, partnerships, and audience development, working closely with filmmakers, sponsors, and collaborators. Beyond screenings, the festival functions as a cultural platform bringing filmmakers, artists, and audiences into conversation through workshops and events.

I founded McCoy Education Consulting as a student-focused education agency supporting admissions, visas, and settlement services. The work required building a business from the ground up, combining strategy, partnerships, operations, and direct advising.

This experience deepened my understanding of education systems, institutional relationships, and how decisions affect people at critical moments.

I worked as a freelance digital marketing and SEO specialist, collaborating with agencies on projects across hospitality, finance, e-commerce, and professional services.

Earlier in my career, I gained hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and digital strategy. These roles shaped how I think about growth, systems, and accountability. These experiences continue to inform how I work today.
